I'm going to be running a marathon in my back garden over the next 12 days. I've been put to shame by Capt Tom :) so time to do something!

A marathon is 46,145 yards, my back garden in 12 yards long. That means I have to run the length of the garden 3,846 times.

As I haven't run for many years I'm going to build up slowly starting on 17th April with 150 lengths and then increase by 50 lengths every day. Until a celebratory 146 lengths on the final day.
