Derek and Bob are taking part in the Caledonia Etape on May 16th 2010, this an arduous event - 81 miles of hills, lochs and glens (hopefully without any sabotage on the route this year.)

The event supports Macmillan cancer support. Donations help people living with cancer to have more good days.  There are few families whose lives have not been touched by cancer - 822 people are diagnosed every day in the UK. 

As treatments improve, more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives. This means they need more than medical help, they also need practical, emotional and financial support. That’s why your involvement in this event is so important. Every penny raised helps Macmillan to take huge steps towards reaching out to and helping everyone affected by cancer.
