As I lace up my hiking boots and prepare for the upcoming Trek26 Stonehenge event, I am filled with a sense of purpose and determination. As I am now in my 70s this is definitely a physical challenge for me; but its also an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.

Alzheimer’s Society is an incredible organization that is tirelessly working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They provide vital help and support to individuals living with dementia today, while also campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research for a brighter future.

I am deeply grateful to have the chance to participate in Trek26 Stonehenge - 26 miles of breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable moments. But this journey is about more than just personal achievement; it's about being part of something bigger than myself. It's about being part of a community that believes in hope, compassion, and change.
