Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I turned 50 last year…..and it’s a turning point for me.  I lost some weight with the support and help of my amazing wife, but I needed a challenge for this year…so here it is - the Edinburgh marathon!

I’ve got to continue to lose the weight whilst I’m ramping up my training….so double challenge.

I wanted to support a local charity in what is likely to be my first and only marathon…and was delighted to work with Deaf Action.

Deaf Action is a deaf-led charity that supports and celebrates deaf people.

Their  work is geared towards empowering all deaf people to achieve their potential and fully participate in society, with equality of rights, access and opportunity.

Give what you can, and if possible stand and shout for me on the day.

Big Deek 😉
