Story
I'm running the 2020 (now 2021) Brighton Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK.
Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.
My Dad was diagnosed in 2019 and underwent 7 weeks of treatment. He had noticeable symptoms that I recognised through the work of prostate cancer UK. Thanks to amazing treatment he has lowered his PSA count to normal levels. He got his results in January 2020 and he remains cancer free to this day. I would like to contribute in some way to helping those in a similar situation.
