The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation T20 Walkathon is a 20 mile sponsored walk. 2021 boasts a new route giving walkers the chance to explore some of Derbyshire's most picturesque countryside and idyllic cricket clubs, all in aid of a good cause.

Story

Richard Hudson, James Testro and Steve Willoughby will once again walk the 20 miles from Trent Bridge Cricket Ground to The Derbyshire Cricket Ground to help raise money for local causes. They did it in 2019 and were gutted when the event couldn't go ahead last year. After less exercise in the last year they are expecting to find it much harder.

Derwent Primary School & Aspire on Cornwall Road will be recipients in this area of funding from this lengthy walk. Richard, James & Steve have a long history of supporting Aspire.

The T20 Walkathon event is instrumental in raising monies to support valued community projects, projects like the Summer Holiday Camp. The Foundation is committed to focussing and tackling the issues that effect residents of Derby and Derbyshire and recognise that food poverty is just one of many.
