Story

Steph and Jake, of Steph and Jake's Mito Mission, are members of my family who both have mitochondrial disease or mito for short.

There are currently no treatments or cures for mitochondrial disease so research into this is vital.  This is part of the reason I am doing this event.  Mito is cruel illness which is not as rare as thought, however it is not well known of.  This is the second reason as to why I am doing this run.  I want to raise awareness of this condition.  Awareness is vital but is lacking in a huge way.

Please help me raise money for this brilliant cause

Our missions are run by families affected by mitochondrial disease, mito for short. MILLIONS in the UK have illnesses which also involve mitochondrial damage - diabetes, MS, stroke, some cancers & many more. More research into mitochondrial disease could help so many, not just those with mito.
