CAFOD MAY DAY TREK · 4 May 2015

CAFOD works with local partners and communities across the world - responding to emergencies, promoting long-term development and raising public awareness of the causes of poverty. We work with people of all faiths and none for a safe, sustainable and peaceful world.

Story

The CAFOD May Day Trek on Monday 4 May 2015 is the 50th annual walk to raise funds for CAFOD to tackle the root causes and effects of poverty across the world. Fundraisers can walk routes of 6, 11, or 16 miles in Peak District, starting from St Luke's, Lodge Moor.

The Desforges family, including Amelie (9) and Sion (13), along with Luke and Chrissy, will be aiming to complete the full 16 miles.

STOP PRESS: Amelie Desforges is now on the CAFOD twitter page as the youngest trekker to complete 16 miles.
