Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge 2017 · 8 July 2017
Always up for a challenge, a chance to do some team bonding but most of all to support a worthy cause, a number of the DP team across all offices will be coming together to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 8 July for Save the Children. Climbing the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, with the aim of completing the walk in under 12 hours, the DP-ers will walk 24-miles, including 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent all in one day. The Yorkshire Three Peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It promises to be both scenic and rewarding. Of course it will also be a challenge but knowing that we will be raising funds for children
in desperate need will make it all worthwhile.
Save the Children believes every child deserves a future. In the UK and around the world, they give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. They do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we all share.
