We support cardiac care to help heart patients in Sussex

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On April 14th, Designate are entering teams in Rough Runner - a 15km assault course that claims it’ll be a fun day out. So we’ve been training accordingly. Ah.

What we are serious about is raising money for the Sussex Heart Charity, tremendous people who support NHS cardiology units in the county. It'd be great if they can help the Royal Sussex achieve its aim of getting an ECMO machine in Brighton. It's the kind of machine that saved our colleague Becky’s life last year and there are only four in the country. There should be more.

About the charity

We are a local independent cardiac care charity who have been raising funds since 1987. It is our aim to improve the lives of people with heart conditions in Sussex.
