It's that time of the year once again!

Destination Dreams is the 'once-in-a-lifetime' holiday enjoyed by 25 children with life threatening illnesses each year - and on Monday 5th December 2016 another group of families will be jetting off for a week of escapism and excitement in Disney World in Florida.

This is a unique holiday for the WHOLE family - that's why Caudwell Children take a team of paediatric doctors and nurses on the trip, backed up by a large group of volunteers, willing and able to step in and take the strain at a moments notice.

Right now, the children along with their siblings and parents, are very much looking forward to an action-packed week of theme parks, dining out and live shows! 

The families are now appealing to the public to donate to the charity in order to ensure Destination Dreams continues to give other children their dream holiday.

One Mum, Donna Bishop, from Plymouth, says that without the support of Caudwell Children her family would not be able to holiday abroad. As she explained ''My 7-year-old daughter Brooke has cystic fibrosis and global development delay and her condition has left her with regular lung and sinus infections and persistent coughing. We have never felt comfortable going on a plane, but the thought of having the medical team available 24/7 gives us real confidence.''

As you can imagine, Destination Dreams doesn't come cheap, and costs an average of £10,000 per family, so that's £250,000 in total. We rely on fund raising support to make the trip a reality, and it's so important we keep the donations coming in.     

Since Destination Dreams was launched in 2007, over 200 families have enjoyed the getaway, and Caudwell Children want to make sure more families get this memorable experience.
