Great Throw Recycle · 31 January 2022

The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity who creates, protects and cares for woodland across the UK. We are working hard to create a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and wildlife. But we can't do this alone. We can't achieve our vision without you.

Story

We are taking part in the International Judo Federations Climate Challenge - our next mission is to plant a tree - and we'd like to do that by supporting Woodland Trust Scotland who do great work to halt the loss of native trees and to plant and restore existing woodlands.

We will be doing a 'great throw recycle' - a sponsored throw where children will see how many times they can do a throw within a time period (1 minute for under 8s, 90 seconds for 8+ year olds).  Sponsors can either sponsor per throw or provide a small one-off donation.

Please help us to support such a brilliant cause and have fun at the same time.  Do Good for the Woods!!
