CEN aims to support, advise, represent and reintegrate pupils excluded from school back into full-time, mainstream education. We aim support and encourage parents/guardians to play an empowered role for the successful education and progress of their children.

Story

CEN are the only charity in London providing advice, support and representation to families whose children are either facing permanent exclusion from school or are already excluded. The costs to the individual pupil, their families and communities are high with the majority of young men in the criminal justice system having being excluded from school. CEN's aim is to successfully reintegrate pupils swiftly back into mainstream, full-time education. Together with its advocacy service and school based mentoring programmes CEN is successful in achieving this for families.

Last year I did the first ever Ride London and I am happy to be able to generate funds for CEN to help fund it's vital service.

My aim is to do the 100 miles in under 5 hours, so it's going to be a gruelling training programme up till then to make sure I achieve it!

Celebrating the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it's a truly spectacular event for all involved.

Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 finishes on The Mall in central London, shortly before 150 professional cyclists race in the inaugural Prudential Ride London-Surrey Classic on a similar route.
