WERF is the global charity fostering research in endometriosis to improve knowledge and treatments. We carry out well powered international multi-centre studies and support research projects investigating disease mechanisms. WERF's vision is to prevent endometriosis in the next generation of women!

Story

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read this page.

After years of wishing I wasn't too vain to donate hair to the Little Princess Trust I have finally decided to take the plunge - scary! This charity does amazing work helping little girls that are sick and have lost their hair due to cancer treatment by giving the little girls wigs, free of charge, helping to make them into the beautiful princesses they are.

My aim is to donate at least 12 inches of hair, the length of hair most needed at the moment, this means it's going to be left pretty short!

Although my hair donation will go to the Little Princess Trust, all sponsorship money raised will be going to World Endometriosis Research Foundation. WERF carry out much needed research into a debilitating and painful condition effecting 176 million women worldwide. As a sufferer of Endometriosis it is a charity close to my heart and I hope the research done with money donated will prevent the next generation of women suffering as I and many I know do. I wouldn't wish this condition on my children; this is why I have chosen WERF.

I am papping it already! I love my long hair and it's taken me years and years to get it to a length I'm happy with but both charities do amazing work and I love the idea that something as simple as getting a haircut can help a poorly little girl feel beautiful ❤️

Any donations are hugely appreciated!
