Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Every year or so, I undertake a challenge for charity. Starting at Aintree on 7 April 2022, I set a target to visit every English racecourse in a year to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
To date, I have visited 47 out of the 51 courses, but the year has come to an end. Unfortunately, a combination of personal circumstances, train strikes and inclement weather conspired against my original timetable.
However, I am not to be defeated, and my revised schedule means I should still complete the challenge in just 16 months! As I chalk off the courses, I'll update here with news and photos from the day.
Every meeting, I take a small pot to place a bet on each race. If I have a winning meeting, any profit is added to the fundraising total but, if I lose, that's down to my poor selections!
