This is a decision my legs will be regretting for many months to come, but this fat, unfit 40 year old has committed to running the Great North Run this year to raise money for the Alice Ruggles Trust.

Alice was an incredibly bright, kind, quick witted young women with an infectious personality, I was fortunate enough to have called Alice my friend.  Alice was murdered in 2016 aged just 24 by an ex boyfriend after a relentless stalking campaign.  

I will be running in memory of Alice and to raise funds for The Alice Ruggles Trust which was set up to help prevent what happened to Alice happening to others, by working to bring about improvement and change in legislation and education around stalking and coercive control.

Any donation is massively appreciated and although I don't think Mo Farah has anything to worry about I'll make it to the finish line on September12th!!
