Dan Hall Pint Promise: If you donate £20 or more, I will buy you a pint next time we’re out!
I’m running the Brighton Marathon 2027 for Diabetes UK because diabetes has had a direct impact on my family. My brother Alex lives with type 1 diabetes and manages his condition remarkably well, but despite this, I’ve seen first-hand the significant impact it has on his life and the daily challenges that come with it. It’s made me realise how demanding the condition can be, and I can only imagine how much harder managing diabetes can be for those who have fewer financial resources or less support.
Taking on a marathon will be a huge personal challenge, but having a meaningful reason behind every mile will make it even more worthwhile. I’m hoping to raise as much money as possible to support Diabetes UK’s work helping people affected by diabetes, raising awareness and funding research into better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Any donation, big or small, would mean a lot to me and my family and help make a real difference to the lives of those living with diabetes.
