DIAMOND CYCLE 2019: Abbey to Abbey · 18 May 2019

A voice for cathedral music, we campaign to uphold this part of the nation's living heritage, support choirs in need and promote excellence in music making.

Story

In 2016, you wonderful generous friends and family supported our Windsor to Westminster Diamond Cycle - thank you 💕. This year, the cycle is BIGGER, LONGER, BRAVER and BADDER (by about a further 30%).

We still cannot take for granted the sublime angelic voices that radiate from radio, TV and all over the country, which are the very fabric of British culture. Many cathedral and choir schools remain at risk because of reduced funding, and not enough children are aware of the amazing experience, opportunities and education being a chorister can bring.

Friends of Cathedral Music have set up The Diamond Fund for Choristers - a supersonic drive to keep our choristers flourishing. Please support us on our epic 30 mile cycle on 18th May, from St Albans Cathedral (the site of the medieval St Alban's Abbey!) to Westminster Abbey, as part of this journey! Funds will be split between DFC and St Albans Cathedral Music Trust. With many thanks for your support, from the WaCky RacerS (Westminster team) and the Albans Riders (St Albans team).
