Story

Dear friends and families,

JRS is an organisation dedicated to providing assistance to refugees in camps and cities, individuals displaced within their own countries, asylum seekers in cities (urban refugees) and people held in detention centres.

The Shelter Project provides asylum seekers with short to medium term accommodation in Sydney, as well as financial assistance and casework support.

JRS runs campaigns within the housing sector to raise awareness of the threat of homelessness faced by this group of desperately marginalised people.

This building that the refugees can call home is in need of repairs.

I work for Seven Consulting and we are committed to a project to help refurbish the JRS house in Kings Cross.  Our people are giving their time to make this project a success.

Seven Consulting is covering the costs for this project.

I want to raise money separately to support the activities of the JRS organization in helping refugees, e.g. helping them to support their residents to buy everyday living goods such as food and clothing.

Please join me and help raise money for Project7.
