Raffle to win a bespoke Handmade cushion ! · 17 June 2019

The Low-Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer (LGSOC) Initiative has partnered with the University of Edinburgh to help fund transformational research into low-grade serous ovarian cancer.

Story

I am living with Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer which is no longer curable. The disease has spread throughout my abdomen and into my chest. This is how it is for me and for all f those living with this disease.

Low grade serious ovarian cancer is a rare and under-researched disease. It affects young women and is resistant to standard treatment. At the Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre we are screening panels of new drugs in the laboratory in order to identify those most likely to be beneficial in the clinic.

My online raffle is £3 per ticket and will be drawn on 17th June. The winner will have a bespoke cushion made for them by me. I’m happy to make the cushion with fabric that I will provide or I will make the cushion in a fabric of your choice. If you provide the fabric I will do the rest!

All you need to do is:
Donate 3 pounds.
Make sure you put your name and not donate anonymously.
I will announce the winner in an update on here.
Good luck.

Please support me in this fundraiser because I desperately want to see more options for women who are diagnosed with Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer. We are all somebodies Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother , Niece, Auntie .... we deserve a chance to have the best treatment for our rare type of Ovarian Cancer .
