<p><span style="color: #73645d; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px; background-color: #ffffff;">On May 24th 2010 my darling sister was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer, it came as a great shock to me and my family. A week later Elaine went back to Christies in Manchester and was told even worse news; the cancer couldn't be cured. This sent our whole life into turmoil. At only 50 my little sister was told she would probably only live for a couple more years. Elaine had to give up work, she had been a nurse for over 30 years and had to start chemo almost straight away. It was a tough couple of years for us but our pain was eased by the help of a local Hospice. The help and support they gave Elaine and the family was unbelievable for such a small charity. I will never forget the help which they gave us and I will always hold them close to my heart. Unfortunately, Elaine passed away on the 4th March 2012. I'm hoping that by setting up this page I will be able to raise £££££s for this amazing cause.</span></p>
