Around since 1923, SAMH currently operates over 60 services in communities across Scotland. These services together with our national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention, sport and physical activity; inform our policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.

Story

We thought it would be fun to be involved in an organised event like the local half-marathon and while doing so raise money for a worthy cause.  We all have mental health to take care of and we all know people who struggle with depression, anxiety and other mental illnesses.  Some people reading this will have been scarred by suicide as someone they love has struggled so hard with life that they could see no other option but to end their life.  SAMH is a well-established charity providing support for mental health issues, addictions and homelessness amongst many other services.
