We will be running the Rob Burrow Marathon on May 14!

It is my 2nd and Richard’s 1st ever Marathon! A big challenge! We will run to raise awareness for 2 charities. Both are very important to us. 

MND has of course significantly impacted Rob, Lindsay, Macy, Maya and Jackson Burrow. Richard coached Rob and we wanted to continue to show our love and support to Rob and the family at this great event. 

Secondly, we are raising money in memory of Tom our beautiful nephew age 1 who recently died suddenly. Tom’s death came as a huge shock to us and our family. 

Tom was a happy and sociable little boy with bright sparkly eyes and an Infectious laugh that we will always remember.

Since his passing, the SUDIC (Sudden unexplained death in childhood) team at Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice (FMN) in Huddersfield have provided our family with specialist bereavement support. FMN are the only hospice in the UK who offer this service which is funded solely by donations and fundraising. 

We will be forever grateful for the support and kindness FMN has given our family at such a terrible time. 

We hope that we can raise some donations in Tom’s memory so that FMN can continue the amazing work they are doing with us and other families.
