Story

Sixteen years ago my husband David died from a brain tumour. I often walk but this time I would like to really push myself and walk to raise money for the brain tumour research charity. Brain Tumour Research is uniquely focused on funding sustainable and long-term research into brain tumours at dedicated UK Research Centres. Your support will help me (and us) get closer to a cure for brain tumours so this tragedy doesn't happen to more families.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
