IRONMAN triathlons are gruelling long distance events comprising 3.8 Km swim, 180Km bike ride followed by a full marathon (42 Km).  This all happens in Klagenfurt, Austria on Sunday July 8th, starting with a mass start at 7.00 am.  www.ironmanaustria.com

Having completed the Switzerland Ironman in 2005, Dick is aiming for an even better time (under 13 hours) this year in Austria. Clare, attempting the distance for the first time, is aiming to fulfil the Ironman mantra that just finishing is a victory!
