Many of us will have felt helpless, seeing the images of people fleeing
the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan in August 2021. It's easy to feel
 like that in the face of such overwhelming fear, but there are ways that we can all help.

Didcot Afghan Welcome Group (formerly Didcot Refugee Support Group) is a group of residents who want to do something practical to support Afghan refugees resettling in the Didcot area. Our aim is to raise £9000 as part of the support package for a refugee family in resettling here, so that they can start a new life in peace and safety.

We may not be able to solve the current crisis ourselves, but we can make a world of difference to one family. Any support you can give us to do that is amazing- thank you!
