In support of Child Dynamix

As part of the C4DI Charity Kit car project, we've joined together to raise money for the Children's charity Child Dynamix by hiking the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Child Dynamix is a Hull-based charity that works with children and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds. By giving the children access to support, mentoring and a positive community the charity aims to give the Children a head start and hopefully change the course of their lives for the better.

The Challenge

On Saturday 26th May six brave souls (I can say that as I write that, right?) will be hiking the Yorkshire Three Peaks. That's 24.5 Miles, 2180 meters of gruelling elevation gain. We will leave Hull just after 4 am on Saturday and get to the start point in Yorkshire and begin the hike by 7 am to make sure we have plenty of light for the hike. For many of us, it's the first time we have hiked the route and will certainly be one of the longest distances any of us have traversed on foot before.
