Story

Hello all. Thank you for clicking onto our justgiving page. In May, 8 of us have decided to take on the challenge of attempting to complete the 100 mile Birmingham Velo Bike Ride.
For everyone who knows us, they will know that we have little experience in long distance bike riding. Some of the team havent been on a bike for over 30 years so this is going to be a challenge.
We are aiming to raise money for Alzheimer's Society UK.
Currently Dementia is one of the leading causes of death in the U.K. There is currently no reversible cure for this.
Dementia is an illness which effects not only the patient, but their whole family and friends surrounding them. This is becoming one of the biggest challenges facing our Health and social care system.
Alzheimer's society provide a range of support services to try and help patients and their families with Dementia.
Thanks to your support, Alzheimer’s Society is facing dementia head on.
As the largest and most influential dementia charity in the UK, they are calling on everyone to unite.
Working together we know we will achieve our vision - a world without dementia.

All I need is your blessings so that I can do justice to this event and great cause.
