We provide welfare for ex-Gurkhas in need to ensure they live in dignity and security

Story

I' m Major Dillikumar Rai MVO currently on Operational tour in Afghanistan as part of mentoring role for the Afghan National Army Officer Academy. The Royal Gurkha Rifles is celebrating its 25th Anniversary on the 1st of July 2019. To mark this significant milestone, I would like to organize a "Gurkha Charity Day" to raise some fund to support the Gurkha Welfare Trust. Every penny you donate will offer a significant help to those Veterans and Widows who are in desperate need of Welfare and Medical care in Nepal.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and making some donations. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they will send your money directly to the Charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I also would like to thank you all for your kind generosity towards the Gurkha Welfare Trust. This Trust ensures that Gurkha veterans, their widows and their wider communities are able to live with dignity in Nepal, through the provision of Financial, Medical and Community Aid.

Kind Regards,

Dilli
