For my 50th year in 2020 I wanted to walk the Pen Llyn Ultra Marathon 50 miler, COVID-19 had different ideas so this will now be  on July 3rd 2021.  The course follows the Pen Llyn Coastal Path and Sailor’s path and involves over 5,000ft elevation. To date, I have completed 3 half marathons. My sisters are walking too. 

I will be raising money for the children of the Haberdashers’ Abraham Darby Academy Telford. These youngsters from one of the most deprived areas in the country continue to excel at competitions Nationally and Internationally. They commit to rehearsals on top of their studies and part time work. Instruments need replacing and repairing and transport to competitions is costly. Music enhances their lives and provides and opportunity for them to demonstrate their talents and creativity, for many, it is their opportunity for a career and higher education. 

To put things in perspective. My £250 target wouldn’t quite cover the cost of a trumpet, so please give whatever you possibly can and many thanks.
