Bupa Great Birmingham Run 2013 · 20 October 2013 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Hi,

Thanks for visiting my page. Through Just-Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to my charity. Just-Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

I have been accepted to run the Bupa Great Birmingham Run October 20 2013, a perfect event to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis (MS) which is a condition of the central Nervous system

Those of you that know me will know that my only hobby and interest is football and I have never been one to run any kind of distance. Which is why running this half marathon will be a great challenge for me.

One of my best friend sadly lost his mum to MS a few years ago and so I know how this dreadful illness can affect friends and families. He is getting married this year so I decided to do take part in the Great Birmingham run and raise money in her memory.

Myself and others would like to not just remember those who we have lost but try and help others who suffer with this condition. We have other people close to us affected by MS and this run is just as much for them as well, but we can’t do this alone and need as much help and support from everyone.

Thank you as even just reading this help raise awareness.
