ARMA works to ensure that everyone with musculoskeletal conditions (like back pain and arthritis) gets the best quality treatment and support. This is vital as our ability to move is what enables us to work, socialise, live independently and contribute to society.

Story

Found out months ago I had osteo arthritis in my
right knee. It was like a hammer blow as running has been my passion for nearly fifty years. Since then I have worked hard to get back to running through exercises, walking, workouts and biking. But the pain never leaves you and it’s been like running on one leg. As a frequent runner it was hard to take. I’m now just about able to run once a week albeit not without pain but feel mentally ready to return to a 5K Parkrun at Black Park. And there is no better way to celebrate this
achievement than by raising money for ARMA. As a Trustee I’m helping this charity to improve the lives of others who have joint and back ailments. Thank you for spurring me on to beat my target and raise money for activities helping people who suffer from a range of musculoskeletal conditions as well as achieving my goal of running the Parkrun under 26 minutes again.
