Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 21st November 2015, one of my closest friends Luke Attree passed away following an epileptic fit at the age of just 22. Luke was one of the kindest, most considerate, funny, generous & inspiring people I have met and since his passing, my friends and I have tried to think of different ways in which we can raise money for Epilepsy Research UK in his memory.

This is why, after being asked by some work mates to join them in a 12k Dirty Dozen mud run on 16th April this year, I (perhaps foolishly) accepted the offer. My immediate thought about doing it went to Luke and the sheer kick he would have got out of seeing me run anywhere, let alone for 12k & over 20 obstacles! You can see the kind of things I will be doing at www.dirtydozenraces.com.

As mentioned, I will be raising money for Epilepsy Research UK; any donations you can make to this will be hugely appreciated and in all honesty will help me cross that line for Luke.

Thank you

Lizzy
