Rat Race Dirty Weekender - Dirty Double · 7 May 2022

Created via charity sign up service.

Story

There’s only a few weeks to go until we descend on the majestic grounds of Burghley House, the hallowed home of the biggest obstacle course in the world. This course is 20 miles long and has 200+ obstacles...However, we are not just taking on the challenge of doing this course once.

On Saturday 7th May 2022, alongside my mate James Price we opted to take on the Dirty Double, 40 miles and 400 obstacles. So we are either incredibly brave or extremely foolish.

You can check out the details of the event here in case you would like to come and support in person.

Our motivation is the fantastic charity we will be raising awareness and (hopefully) money for.

T-21 provides valuable opportunities with places like Birch Tree cafè. A Community Cafe in Easton on the Hill, near Stamford, where young adults with Down’s Syndrome get to develop new life skills, engage with their communities, and pursue their ambitions.

If you could help by making a donation that will go such a long way to making a difference to those of us who live with or know someone with Down's Syndrome.

We appreciate your support and in return, we will use this as our motivation so please help the 40 mile obstacle course flyby.
