The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

ABC (Assisting Berkshire Children) To Read...
Imagine if you couldn’t read the labels on your food, emails from your friends or the instructions for operating a Smart phone. Without literacy skills, children can easily grow into adults who are unable to lead happy, fulfilled lives and contribute to society.
We help to transform the lives of children who are struggling to read at primary schools across Berkshire. Our volunteer reading mentors work one-to-one with these children, to build their confidence and reading skills.
We are determined to help as many children as we can. Please support our vital work.
