We know that one in two people in the UK will experience a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime.For more than 100 years Macmillan has been there for people with cancer when they needed them most. Today is no exception!Cancer is not going anywhere. And neither can Macmillan.Join us in supporting Macmillan, so they can keep providing physical, financial and emotional support to the millions of people that count on them.

Karen, Dorothy and I will be walking a marathon over the Seven Sisters from Brighton to Eastbourne on 5th June. 

We are fundraising for Macmillan as we have friends who have fought cancer and been supported by the wonderful Macmillan nursing team. 

£13.50 pays for 25 copies of the Cancer Guide which helps people recently diagnosed with cancer and their families understand more about cancer, treatment and help available.

£52 helps run a large Macmillan information and support centre for 1 hour, helping people affected by cancer to find information and support. 

£111 pays for a Macmillan nurse for half a day, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support.

£197 pays for a Macmillan Grant that helps a person living with cancer heart their home when they really need to.

£292 pays to keep a typical Macmillan information and support centre stocked with all the information resources it needs to support people affected by cancer for 1 month.
