Chigwell Riding Trust was the first riding centre for people with special needs in the world. It has been established in Chigwell for sixty years. Riding instruction is given to people of all ages and abilities. The riding centre has approximately 160 riders each week.

Story

Two years ago I did the London Triathlon for the first time to raise money for a very worthwhile local charity - the Chigwell Riding Trust for Special Needs.  Together, the people who sponsored me raised an amazing £3,235.

Last Christmas I went to the carol service at the riding stables where I saw first hand how much the children who use the stables get out of it and how important fund raising is for the charity.

So this year I am hoping to raise just as much if not more than I did two years ago with your help.  To earn your sponsorship I'll be doing not one, but four triathlons during the summer: Blenheim on 8 June; Windsor on 15 June; Eton on 19 July; and finally London on 10 August where I'll be aiming for a personal best of under 2 hours 30 minutes.  (That's to swim 1.5km in the London docks, cycle 40km and then run 10km.)

I hope that you will sponsor me - your donation would really mean a lot to the charity.
Many thanks in advance
Darren
