If anyone is reading this and thinking "Lee doing a marathon?? Is he mad?" Then I totally agree!!!

I haven't been the most athletic person over the last 20 years (maybe the fastest to down a pint of beer, or the fastest to dash down Caroline Street) but recently after losing 5 stone and taking up an exercise regime I feel it's my turn to give something back.

Yep I've stupidly agreed to take part in the 2012 Cardiff Half Marathon (oh I must've been drunk to agree to this!)

I appreciate that you may know loads of other people that are taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon but I hope you consider sponsoring me and help raise money for local cancer charity Tenovus.

I'm not going to play any Coldplay music, i'm not going to tell you an agonising story, or detail the fight people have had against cancer - as we have all had some experience with it and know how devastating it can be.

So all I ask is that you show your support for other people going through the effects of cancer and pledge your support in helping Tenovus continue their hard work that they have proudly done over the last 50 years.
