Story
Mental health challenges for young people are at an all time high.
This is a cause with a lot of significance for us, our families and our friends- but it affects so many. If young people have early support with mental health issues it can positively impact their whole lives and even save lives.
As we are both turning 40 this year we are marking the occasion by aiming to raise £40K to help support the epic work of YoungMinds.
YoungMinds is an incredible charity and a movement that aims to see a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health, and all young people get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what.
This has been an incredibly difficult time for so many people and we've been inspired by the kindness and creativity of folks all over the world who are looking out for each other. Long may this continue beyond the pandemic. It takes courage to ask for help. But sadly, for many young people who do, the support they need just isn’t there, this has to change.
Over the course of this year we're going to run a load of mini fundraising projects for this wee campaign from popup pizzerias (of course!) to creating special products, to running actual runs (may be more Kristian than Darina for that one but you never know:)
If you're able to support with a donation big or small we'll be incredibly grateful. If not hit us up with ideas for fundraising and it'd be excellent if you could share the below link to spread awareness of the vital work YoungMinds are doing- this stuff is useful for us all.
Thank you so much! D+K
