Many thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you may of may not know, I will be completing 30 sporting events before I turn 30. It will start from when I turn 29 on the 14th January 2015, and I must complete all 30 events before January 13th 2016. The only catch for me is, it must be an event where I will be awarded with a medal. Then at the end of my year, I can post a picture of all 30 medals as proof to everyone that has donated that I achieved my goal.

I will be raising money for Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group. Myotonic Dystrophy is an inherited condition and the commonest muscular dystrophy of adult life, affecting around 1 in 8000 adults. The support group offer friendship & support to all those effected by Myotonic Dystrophy, not just to those suffering from the condition, but their families also.

I have chosen this charity as it is a cause great to my heart. My Mum sadly passed away in 2010 with the condition, at the young age of 50 and my older Brother Daniel also lives with the condition.

My family and I know first hand what it is like to have someone close who suffers from this illness, the strains that can entail from day to day living. It would be great to give something back to those that provide families with support.
