DAN'S VSOING AWAY · 25 November 2013

VSO is an international development organisation that brings people together to share skills, build capabilities, and change lives to make the world a fairer place for all. Everyday, VSO volunteers are working to empower people living in some of the world’s most marginalised communities.

Story

Thanks for visiting my page!

In October, I will be spending 10 weeks volunteering in Nyimba, a small district in the Eastern Province of Zambia. Whilst I am in Zambia I will be living with a host family, fully immersing myself with the local customs and working alongside the community and fellow volunteers on a project to increase awareness of Zambia's many health issues.

Although my placement is fully funded by the UK Government through the Department for International Development, I am seeking to raise £800. These donations  will enable VSO to continue their support of those who are desperately in need and send professionals to help fight poverty.

Any donation would be hugely appreciated by VSO and myself!

Thanks for reading, if anyone has any specific questions please do not hesitate to send me a message.
