RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Dad (Mike Elwell) was and still is known for his adventurous, passionate and enthusiastic nature, a true inspiration to all. He would always be happy to help and participate in any charity fundraising opportunities. To continue his legacy, we have decided to do some fundraising challenges for the charities that he supported.

One of his greatest passions was walking, whether it was in the Lake District, Wales or even local walks in Fairy Glen, from mountains to coastal paths, he did it. And now my brother Oliver and I, along with our close friends are taking on the three highest peaks in the UK challenge in loving memory of Dad and to raise money for the RNLI. Over the course of 2 days we will be conquering Snowdon (Wales), Scafell Pike (England) and Ben Nevis (Scotland).

The RNLI had a very special place in his heart, being a keen sailor with a devotion to the sea, he made sure to support the charity in many ways. This is why we have set a target of £500 to help fund the men and women who work incredibly hard saving lives at sea. We would like to thank anyone who can donate to the cause in advance and to let you know that we greatly appreciate every penny.
