I work as a Consultant in Paediatric Palliative Care at Helen & Douglas House. I am running this half marathon to raise money for our service, but also because I am humbled by the feats of bravery that most of our patients and their families have to undertake each day just to get through to the next - I have no doubt that they push themselves to the limit every single day...
