As someone living with epilepsy, I know the impact it can have on a person's life. Epilepsy Action do wonderful work in busting myths about this common neurological condition, providing support to those living with epilepsy (and their families and carer) and being a source of excellent information and advocacy. 

I'm lucky enough that epilepsy doesn't really prevent me from doing anything I want to do, and I run these races for people living with the condition whose lives and wellbeing have been a lot more impacted.
