The members of Dofra lodge (meeting in Northfield, Birmingham) regularly raise funds for charitable causes. However, the COVID pandemic has curtailed many of our usual fundraising activities......and so we have elected to 'think out of the box' and organise a virtual trek to the summit of Mt. Everest.

Each participating member of the lodge will use a step counter (or smart device) and log their weekly steps....either from doing a local run or walk....even just a few steps taken in the garden for those who are self-isolating due to age or health risks.

All the steps will be gathered together each week, as we ascend to the summit of Mt. Everest (starting now and aiming to finish by the end of April)....and the money we raise as sponsorship for the Worcestershire 2022 Festival will  be put to work
