Photographing 100 Different Breeds of Dog in 1 Year! · 24 August 2012

Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. We love all dogs, and the people who love dogs too. We care for dogs in need through our network of 22 centres across the UK and Ireland, finding them loving new homes. A dog is for Life, not just for Christmas ©

Story

I got my first dog 2.5 years ago. He's in the picture on this page. He's called Alfie and he's a character.

Since getting him I've arrived in a dog world that I didn't know existed. I've had so much fun and love from him he just makes me happy! Of course getting a dog has also brought home how badly some dogs are treated and how many owners for one reason or another just seem prepared to give their dogs away. I'm a dog photographer so thought I could use my skills to help raise some money for The Dogs Trust to help them with the 16,000 dogs they deal with every year. My aim is to photograph 100 different breeds of dog in one year during 2013. If you can help me by donating, by helping me idenitfy rare breed dogs to photograph or simply by turning up and supporting me as I take 12 walks around differnt parts of Yorkshire then that would be fantastic!
