Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few close friends have come together with the common intention of doing something challenging and sponsorship-worthy in memory of Duncan Michael Wilson, our dear friend who passed away in March.

My fellow ramblers Peter Marcinkowski, Iain French, Emily Righton, Hal Branson, Beth Hazon and I have dug out our walking boots and dusted them off to take part in the 2013 Hadrian's Wall Trekathon.

Duncan made a huge impact on us and all of those who knew him. Along with his fellow Hexam-ites, who decended on Leeds for Uni, Duncs kept us entertianed for years with stories of their escapades at school and other tales from those days hanging out near Hadrian's Wall in Hexham.

With this in mind it seems so fitting to do this for Duncan and to raise money for the Macmillan Nurses who were fantastic angels, caring for him throughout his illness.

Please dig deep - this will be a struggle - I personally haven't undertaken anything like this since I took the scenic route to Macchu Picchu nearly 10 years ago!

Thanks in advance for your generosity.
