Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The reason I’m doing Trekfest for the Royal British Legion:

The day before Fathers Day this year (just a few weeks ago), At the beginning of a local Royal British Legion parade in Sandown, my friends dad, David Todd, died on parade, he was only 61. He was such a character and raised tons for the RBL every year, poppy selling. This obit’ from the council (his employer, says it very nicely)

so despite the fact I’d been considering Trekfest prior to Dave’s death, it cemented it for me. I will be taking part to raise money for the Royal British Legion, no matter what.

FYI: I can’t walk up two flights of stairs with out getting out of breath, my job is entirely sedentary, I’m basically a lazy hag, so this will be A MASSIVE challenge, I’d love it if you could show your support, no donation too small!
