It has been one of the best years of my life, achieving more than I could have ever imagined. 

Now... I think it is time to give something back. I am going to run the Oxford Half Marathon on the 9th October 2016 with my brother Richard for two charties, a Charity that I hold extremely close to my Heart "Cancer Research UK" and one which I have a huge amount of respect for now in the role that I had always dreamed to be in "The Firefighters Charity" (other justgiving page).

I lost my mother at a very young age to Cancer, as so many people know it is hard losing someone so close to you. The thing that I have always found the hardest is the unanswered questions "What was she like as a person?". There is only so much you can paint a picture in your head with what people tell you. 

There is only one way we can stop this and it is by insuring Cancer Research UK have the funds to keep finding new treatments to cure Cancer.
