Story
Hello, we are Harvey and Kila, thanks a lot for visiting our page!
Every summer over the last two years we have helped out the nice scientists at WDCS with their dolphin research on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland. Our humans call us the Canine Research Team, and, as you can see from the photos, we help out a lot! We find things on the beach that we hand over, eventually, and we look at the local wildlife. We are also very good at digging.
We have set ourselves a huge challenge this summer, and we need your help! We are visiting the Isle of Lewis in June to help out with the whale and dolphin research as we usually do, but this time we're also getting in shape to walk our Dolphin Dog Walk to raise money for our friends - the dolphins. The walk is 11 miles long, and we'll have to cross the Bridge to Nowhere (sounds scary!) so please sponsor us if you can.
We're very lucky that we get to see dolphins every year when we help out, because they could be in trouble in the places they live. The seas have become busy and sometimes dangerous places with all those humans around, and WDCS is trying to protect the places that the dolphins (and whales too) make their homes. We want to make sure they have a future. That's why we want to raise money for our friends, so please dig deep for our Dolphin Dog Walk.
